SBI surveyed software CEOs and found 87% are still optimizing their existing growth model rather than transitioning to the outcome-based or consumption-based models the market now requires. The report maps six company archetypes across three threat pairs (The Exposed, The Eroding, The Squeezed), each facing a different form of disruption but converging on the same solution: a hybrid pricing model with a predictable platform fee floor and a variable value fee tied to AI-generated outcomes.
